The Bride Bible: Nail It On The Big Day

Your beauty routine on the big day is really, a very big deal!

As I am getting more and more prepared for the amount of work involved in getting myself aisle ready, I have realised how pedantic I am.

For me, the perfect manicure is paramount. When that ring goes on and the perfect photo is snapped, you don’t want a chipped nail or the wrong colour!

The key is to prep your nails for at least six months before. Step one is to get onto your vitamin supplements to help strengthen and nourish your nails, and the rest of you!

Make sure you take;

Omega-3 Oil – a type of fatty acid the body needs to for heart health and brain strength. It also helps your hair look beautifully shiny and healthy.

Vitamin H – Vitamin H (also known as biotin). A deficiency of this vitamin is rare but taking it can help treat diabetes and high cholesterol, in addition to promoting healthy fingernails.

Vitamin E – This is the other main vitamin to look out fot. It helps your fingernails look better and grow faster and stronger. Eating things like avocados, olive oil, and almonds helps, but its best to also use a supplement.

The other thing to do is use a treatment like Dr Lewinn’s Renunail Nail Strengthener to help bolster strength.

The other thing to think about, is what to match your nails to:

Your dress: Match it to your ivory or white dress with a very neutral tone. Think L’Oreal Paris Colour Riche Vernis in Rose Paris.

Your shoes: If you have a bit of glitz or glam on your shoes, why not try a little dip dye glitter with a top coat to match!

Make it your something blue: If you wan’t a special way to add that something blue, why not choose a beautiful navy blue, like OPI’s Navy Nailpolish.

Match your theme: Is your theme garden country, or Gatsby Glamour? Match your nails to your theme, or colour scheme! Try a beautiful bold nail to match- like a bold red.

What are your tips for the perfect mani on your big day?
