Shop Girls: Spell and the Gypsy, Byron Bay

I have fallen in love with a couple of gypsies whilst in Byron over the weekend. It’s not hard when I wandered into a store called SPELL AND THE GYPSY.

If you have not heard of Spell and the Gypsy, WELCOME! They have a gorgeous boho chic range to die for. Sienna Miller would not know what hit her walking into this store. Clothes, hosiery, jewelery, skin care, home wares, this is a one stop shop and all items are at such at a great accessible price. As you may notice below, I can’t get enough of the visual merchandising. Just stunning.

Spell and Gypsie was founded by two sisters Elizabeth and Isabella. For as long as they can remember they’ve been enamored by the feeling created when you combine feathers, leather and turquoise.
In the 1960s and 70s their father was a leather craftsman and their mother was a potter, painter and wove brightly colored threads on a loom. It seems only natural that the sisters would end up in Byron Bay, living a creative passion that flows from their family. Get me some of those genes pleeeeaaaase!!!!

I met up with a few of their rockstar shop girls Rachel and Aimee, Ballina / Byron born and bred. It was so refreshing to see how much fun they had in store with their customers and the great service provided with suggestions and styling. (there is so much goodness everywhere your eye takes you, I made them show me all their favs so I didn’t miss anything!!)

So I know we are not in Byron Bay everyday soaking up the sun…but these girls are online…AND there are some absolute gems on sale. Jump on their site and get yourself a bargain before summer even starts!
