The colour palette for Ms Couture’s S/S collection for RAFW is best described as delicious candy pastels that look good enough to eat.
The label takes undergarments to the next level, and while most of the pieces are only suitable for that special someone in your life, there were a few pieces that could make a daring transition into outerwear, think flowing sheer capes and long sleeved, netted leotards.
Delicate fringing on corsets and boy leg pants in duck egg blue was inspired and original, and a pastel green cutout bustier had a couple of lads in the audience sitting a little straighter.
The designer herself describes the pieces as a “world of romance and flight of fantasia, a place where fashion and lingerie are fused”, and who doesn’t want a little bit of fantasy and romance in their underwear drawer?
