6 Unexpected Model Instagram Accounts To Follow

Ah, Instagram. Just about everyone seems to have a love/hate relationship with this pervasive app, yet we all keep coming back for more…. and more… scrolling late into the night oftentimes … (or is that just us?)

And, who doesn’t love the odd “model account” peppering their feed, for that in-your-face reminder about how the other half live! If you’ve exhausted your fill of the Gigi’s and Rosie’s, want something a little quirky, or are just ready to meet some new faces, hop onto the following below.

#1 – Ruby Jean Wilson (@rubyjean_wilson)

Born in Scotland, raised in England, moved to NSW when she was 14, we like to claim Ruby as one of our own. The 22 year old made her international fashion debut for SS10 in New York and is yet to take a step back. Follow her for non-stop vintage shopping inspiration.

#2 – Montana Cox (@montanacox1)

Montana found her fame through winning Australia’s Next Top Model cycle 7 in 2011. The now 22 year old David Jones Ambassador has walked for everyone from Chanel to Kenzo. A devoted Instagram story maker, her feed is a flurry of star-studded wedding selfies with her bestie Lucinda Taffs, DJs events and behind the scenes gems, all with a big pinch of down to earth Aussie humour.

#3- Bambi Northwood-Blyth (@bambilegit)

24-year-old Bambi Northwood-Blyth is the proud owner of everybody’s favourite eyebrows. Currently based in New York with her designer husband, Dan Single of Ksubi, her Instagram feed is direct reflection of her; happy, fresh faced and effortlessly cool.

#4 – Suki Waterhouse (@sukiwaterhouse)

British model and actress Suki Waterhouse’s feed is a star-studded occasion, often hanging out with her female super group including Cara Delevigne and her younger sister, Immy, also a model (@immywaterhouse). The queen of 70’s bangs is a must-follow for an honest look into the world of a Burberry girl.

#5 – Isabelle Cornish (@isabellecornish)

Isabelle is an Australian model and actress, the 21 year old has achieved a lot in her short life appearing on various Australian television shows, most recently and successfully on Puberty Blues. Named PETA’s sexiest vegetarian 2013, follow her for non-stop positive vibes, fitness and wellbeing inspiration.

#6- Zippora Seven (@zippyseven)

With a name like Zippy Seven, you know her feed is going to be a worthwhile follow. When the straight out of the 70’s New Zealander isn’t modeling, she’s exploring and her photos are often an ethereal dream where Zip has lost herself in a forest or she is reading in a hammock in Spain. Follow her for total life envy!
