MBFF – Mercedes Benz Fashion Festival Brisbane (DAY 2)

Written By: Taryn Watt

Ballerina-esque models swanned down the runway in tutu inspired gowns by Begitta (with pointe shoes in hand) to open the emerging designers show at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Festival in Brisbane last night. It was a diverse show, with everything from swimwear to high end and bridal couture. Prints featured heavily in the collections of almost every designer.

The show celebrates and promotes the most talented emerging designers in South East Queensland and their fresh new take on style.

The key focus of the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Festival Brisbane is to support the local fashion industry, by giving Queensland designers a platform to showcase their work and directly connect with consumers. By showing collections at the same time as they land in store, rather than a season ahead, fashion enthusiasts inspired by the catwalk spectacle can purchase their favourite looks fresh from the runway. [nggallery id=1341]
