May the Label’s latest offering is Illumination for Winter 2013, which is an evolution of the May signature aesthetic with interesting abstract prints beautiful on trend separates.
The collection draws inspiration from an eclectic mix of areas- think paisley, delicate florals and stronger jewel and chain prints.
There is retro referencing in the high necked shift dresses, capelets, flared pants and paisley prints which are feminine with an air of whimsy.
Key items from the collection for me are a matchy-matchy jewel print pantsuit (which is so on trend for this season), and a metallic knit which work well against the wide range of separates and outerwear presenting a collection that once again, lends itself to adding to your wardrobe seamlessly.
