LISA HO TO CLOSE DOWN

It’s a sad day for Australian fashion with the news that iconic label Lisa Ho will be closing down at the end of the month. Having been at the forefront of Australian fashion for over 30 years since her eponymous label’s inception in 1982, 53-year-old Lisa has carved a name for herself with her signature feminine pieces.

One of her many career highlights include a dedicated segment to Lisa’s beautiful creations and her in the 2000 Olympic Games held in Sydney, for which she also designed the dress worn by Olivia Newton-John.

This exposure launched her label on an international label that gained a celebrity following including the likes of Jennifer Lopez, Jessica Alba, Zooey Deschanel, Kim Kardashian and more.

Always a highly anticipated favourite at Australian Fashion Week, her beautiful presentations held at the beautiful Art Gallery of NSW will be definitely be missed. We wish Lisa all the best!

Oops, just saw the earlier comment about the financial issues she’s been having. Such a shame, but certainly not the only brand to have suffered in this economic climate.
