Kaylene Milner is on our watch list for 2014, and as soon as you see the campaign images you’ll understand why. The Sydney based designer is all about using fine natural fabrics and partnering this with couture quality craftsmanship- what’s better than beautiful luxe fabrics with perfect, fashion forward tailoring?
Milner is a top graduate from the acclaimed Sydney Institute of Technology and has made a big splash in the fashion scene since her participation in 2012 in the much anticipated MBFWA the Innovators TAFE show to showcase her debut collection. SInce then, Milner has gone on to win the Fashion Future International Mentoring program to fund an internship with none other than THE fabulous Diane Von Furstenberg in New York.
The latest collection for Autumn/Winter draws inspiration from the mysterious and macarbe …from esoteric cults, secret societies, 1950s teddy girls and the 1925 “girls rifle team of Drexel Institute”.
