Kate Middleton’s Flawless Skin Thanks To Bee-sting Venom?

We’ve all done crazy things in the name of looking good (placenta facials anyone?), and it appears that the royal family isn’t immune to a few quirky beauty tricks of their own.

According to the UK’s Daily Mail, Kate Middleton, used a face mask containing bee-sting venom leading up to her wedding day.

The treatment was created by London-based beauty therapist, Deborah Mitchell, and is said to be an organic alternative to botox. The product works by smoothing out wrinkles through collagen growth and the renewal of cells.

The facial was introduced to Middleton by the Duchess of Cornwall, Camilla, who has been using it for years. Other bee-sting fanatics include Victoria Beckham, Gwyneth Paltrow and the Minogue sisters.

At just over $200 a pop, it will get your skin buzzing (with all the potential bee jokes, you’re lucky I only did one).

What do you think? Would you do it?
