Josh Goot Spring/Summer collection created an ultra modern look with styles that no one else but Goot could have pulled off. His usual clean cut styles with sharp lines and bold colours were apparent. However he went for the more oversized tailored look this season, showing bubble shape skirts and dresses that looked like the wind had taken from underneath them. This shape also carried through to the sleeves of shirts and jackets creating overall an overall look that emphasised the curves of a womans shoulders and hips
The digital prints were typically Josh Goot and were developed by Goot’s regular graphics collaborator Shane Sakkeus and his young team including Stacia Hadiutomo.
If you were going to pick any designer to do neoprene (wet suit fabric) you would pick Goot. With his sleek styles and smart colour blocking I was amazed to see he was a able to get backless tops perfectly fitting in something suited usually for surfers.
It was great to see Josh back on our shores and again exceeding all expectations.
