#3 – Be Prepared for the Big Day
When it comes to the wedding day, a chief bridesmaid MUST be super organised – there’s no room for winging it. It’s essential that each of the bridesmaid’s duties are agreed upon and mapped out in advance, so that everyone is in the right place at the right time, and there are no disasters.
For example, thinking ahead and planning additional time for the bride to get ready will promote a calm and enjoyable lead up to the ceremony (with no nervous grooms waiting forever at the alter!)
Every bridesmaid should be ready before the bride, so there is one less delay and nothing for the bride to worry about. As the day gets underway, carry a few of her essentials (like makeup, tissues and a mirror) and make sure you’re always on hand to help.
