So I'm thinking of getting the Keratin Complex hair treatment to straighten my curly locks.

Anyone tried it? where's the best place to get it done?

Hey, I've had the Brazilian Blowout (which is the same thing but without the formeldahyde) and it was honestly the best thing that's ever happened to me. My hair was frizzy and kinky, not consistent in it's curl at all. And no matter what I did it would always frizz up in humid/wet weather, heck it would curly on my hairline just from a little gym perspiration.

But it's been four months since I had the brazilian blowout now and my hair still hasn't needed to be ironed. I just blow dry it (sometimes without even using a round brush) and it's shiny and smooth and just a nice wave.On days that I don't want to blowdry it just looks like a bit of a sexy beach do, without the frizz.

I did have some lightener put in the ends last week (ombre style) and have noticed it has sort of undone the effects of the blowout, but I will just make sure I colour again before my next time.

I will do it again and again (probably twice a year) and would recommend it to anyone with untamed hair.

Hi Tillybee,

I so have the same problem as you, is it expensive? I had permanent straightening in Thailand last year and it cost about $150.00 but only lasted about 3 months.Cry

I tried the Permanent Hair Straightening last year but it didn't last long and my hair are back to same curly and frizzy. The chemicals which are used to straighten the hair caused hair fall problem too.

Any ideas which are the best products to go for permanent hair straightening and which could last for long?

Hair treatment products consist of different ingredients, ranging from drugs, chemicals, fragrance to preservatives. Exposure to non-natural products always comes with certain risks. You may be allergic to parabens and develop rashes and swelling after using these products.

My friend tried it and it didn't do anything noticable to her hair. Actually her hair stayed EXACTLY the same as it was before the treatment.

I had a keratin treatment and it didn't make much difference. My hair looked the same after around 2 days! A bit shinier and in better condition but no less frizz unfortunately

That must have been disappointing because these treatments are usually pricey Frown
I was thinking about getting a treatment done but will try something else now!

It is a specially formulated revitalizing and rejuvenating treatment
for the hair that reduces frizz and curl. The advanced patent-pending
formulation restores and restructures hair by infusing a special blend
of natural keratin deep into the cuticle. The keratin is bonded into
the cuticle by the heat of the flat iron to relax the hair’s sub-cuticle
layer.

I hear that Keratin treatment is much healthier than chemical straightening as it's more of a relaxant.

I due the permanent Hair Straightening outlive turn but corporal didn't reach wanting further my hair are lead to equable frizzled besides tangled. The chemicals which are used to straighten the hair caused hair plummet ball-buster too.

Any ideas which are the inimitable goods to stab because lasting hair straightening also which could project over enthusiasm?

I too like straight hairs. But most of the times hair straightners doesn't give perfect straightness.
