Based out of beautiful Byron Bay on the NSW North Coast, the label is coveted by customers, international buyers, bloggers and celebrities alike. The label has established itself as the go-to for ultra-flattering party dresses, unique floral prints, playful shapes, and collections that are both on-trend yet sophisticated.
Talulah’s latest instalment, the High Summer 2014 ‘Effervescence’ collection has just launched, and I’m already mentally bookmarking all of the pieces I would love to own (in my ideal world!) Bringing all of the best elements of the Talulah aesthetic into one highly shoppable collection, it is now available online just in time for party season.
According to the label, “Effervescence has opened up the volume with fluid shapes, vivacity and enthusiasm. The collection plays with proportions and angular silhouettes for something polished with a punch. Inspired by handsome silk blends and heavy twills, the high summer collection creates a luxe atmosphere.
The new take on fluffed up volume, soft layers, wide pants and cropped tops make this collection contemporary, yet still heavily echoing the unsurpassed TALULAH aesthetic. An injection of delicate pieces yoked in sheer, doubled silk organza introduce a forward kind of girlish inflection. that with an underlining sense of confidence.”
As well as mastering the art of prints and decidedly summer-time party looks, Talulah features several plain coloured / black garments in the collection. Perfect for wearers in cooler climes, these monochrome pieces are a nod to the minimalist movement currently sweeping fashion. Even so, the label is skilled at making plain black garments look feminine and pretty, with the addition of soft shapes, ruffles, discreet cut outs and eye-catching detail.

Wow! Loving some of these…so elegant.
Would love an article on their swimwear as I pretty much live in cozzies over the warmer months where I am. These outfits are nice for those in the urban areas I think.
