Foundation Tips & Tricks For A Flawless Face

Foundation has the potential to make anyone’s face look like the (airbrushed) faces of models and celebrities in fashion magazines.

Here we share some tips and products to give you gorgeous flawless face with foundation!

best moisturisers for under foundation

#1 – Moisturise

One must always, always moisturise before applying foundation so there is no dry, cracked skin on the face (or on the body for that matter). This is essential before we apply any sort of makeup onto the face. Try one with added benefits such as this cult product by Embryolisse which is a primer, a mask, a makeup remover AND moisturiser all rolled into one.

These tips are really helpful for me (a foundation newbie), but I still don’t like foundation!! I can’t make any expressions, otherwise it makes wrinkles and makes me look old!!

Great tips…. but valid points from dapperdolly too

  • dapperdolly Friday 13th January, 2012 at 12:58 pm

Less is more but foundation, concealer and powder? That’s on top of the moituriser and has extra SPF so sunlight can’t get through and the skin lacks Vit D which is far more necessary than the idea of UV damage. The skin needs to breathe and concealer on sensitive areas like around the eyes isn’t a good idea – try a bit of steaming, used tea bags, potato peel or cucumber for the eyes. Darkness around the eyes may not be welcome but wearing concealer over the skin will not help long term.
