Oh hey there, Neon. Fancy seeing you here. Again. Didn’t we meet in the 90s? Audrey-ites, I’m sure you’ve noticed (as you all definitely seem like the observant type) there is a 90s revival happening; Miley’s new cut, Spice Girls at the Olympics, combat boots and the raglan top are just a few examples. So it’s hardly surprising that neon has pushed its way back to the top of the beauty sphere.
The trick to making neon work on your face is keeping everything else minimal. Invest in a high quality primer to avoid clown face, use concealer on your eyelids for a good base, and steer towards matte rather than glossy to prevent looking like an actual neon light (unless that’s your thing). And for the love of cute baby sloths, go easy on the fake tan: anything as bright as neon will only make you look more orange.

I wouldn’t wear the neon eyeliner, but the neon nails are super cute! I like the bubblegum pink lipstick as well!
Neon has been making a bit of a comeback in recent years however, as make up it has to be used sparingly. I’d say if you use it, use it lightly on one feature only at a time.
