A Day In The Life’ of MAN jewellery designer Sheila Man

Above: A shot from MAN’s latest campaign.

We go behind the scenes with Sheila Man, designer of MAN jewellery to see what a day in the life of a creative force of nature is really like.

7am – Wake Up! Three in the bed, as my baby daughter Luna always crawls in with Sasha and I when she first wakes up at 6am.

8am – Breakfast at Bondi Speedos. It’s so close to home and has become a bit of a family ritual before Sasha leaves for work in the mornings. I’m obsessed with the pancakes!

8.45am – Check out Bondi’s view. I’ll never get sick of it!

9am – The work day finally begins. I sit down at my home office to catch up on emails, update my online store, fulfil orders. This is a big part of my day!

1pm – Visit my PR agency, MCMPR to drop off some new season styles for the showroom.

2pm – Finish off some necklace and bracelet samples I’ve been working on for Spring Summer 14/15! I have a very tactile design process, so I find making things by hand very therapeutic.

5pm – I’m always looking for new inspiration, today I head out to go see Sculptures By The Sea before the sun goes down.

6pm – I always try finish the day in the best possible way – Bronte swim.
