Portobello PR is founded by PR Maven Charlie Boyce, and is one of the nicest and most welcoming offices to walk into. Portobello PR boasts a stable of impressive clients that include Betts, ZU Shoes, Elliatt, Neuw Denim, and Paul Mitchell to name just a few.
We got a little sneak peek into the life of a PR Firm and the results are below!
6am: Guaranteed to be woken up by having Twiggy (my dog) or Monkey (Randal’s dog) jump on me. I will give up on the idea of sleeping in, read my emails on my phone and then get up and take them for a walk
8am: Meet with a client or media in Paddington or Double Bay for Breakfast. It is the best time of the day to have a business meeting!
9-930am: Get into the office, catch up on emails and spend the next 1-2 hours on the phone chatting to clients
11am: Need my next tea/ caffeine hit. I generally will have a meeting around this time
1230pm: Start working on and executing strategies for clients. This will take me well into the evening
1:00pm: Will generally start to banter with the girls about what to eat for lunch. On a good day we get Chomp
5pm: Reflect on how amazing my staff are (particularly Brittany) and how I can’t bear life without them
7pm: Start dinner and chat with a client on the phone as I am preparing it
8pm: Start preparing for the next day
9pm: Geordie Shore/ Downtown Abbey/ Some other random English show time!
