Running Spot #1 – The Bay Run (Inner-West)

Approximately 7 kms long, this run is all about the water views. The enclosed loop track traces the shores of the Iron Cove, and is surrounded by picturesque parks you can stop at during your run.

The track itself is relatively flat and well looked after, which means its low impact and you can run with ease. It’s quite a social environment; with families, friends, walkers, runners and cyclists all in the mix. Also, it’s dog friendly, so you’ll have plenty of opportunity to pet some super-cute puppies along the way.

I’m from Melbourne and when I come up for work, I love running around Centennial Park. The Tan running track in Melbourne is good, but nothing like Centennial Park. The white fence loop seems short because there’s so much beauty. Hands down my favourite track in Australia.
