This Week I’m Loving: 6 Summer Lust-Haves

Ok, so I’m a bit early on “summer” but this week is practically over, and before you know it, it’ll be DECEMBER 1st! ……That’s summer baby!

I’m looking forward to some R&R this season, not that you couldn’t already figure it out by the items I’m adding to cart at the present moment. Here they are:

1. I really can’t go past this eye mask by Peter Alexander

Self-explanatory. LOVING this item! Cat nap in style with the ultimate bedroom accessory for any Audrey-o-phile available from Australia’s own pajama king, Peter Alexander $39.95

2. Flattering (read: supportive) bikini from RH Swimwear

Loving this bikini I found at RH Swimwear a new Australian swimwear designer offering great designs at accessible prices. (Top $45, bottoms $35) Personally, I’m a big fan of a bra-style cup that offers the support I need for frolicking in the waves! Those triangular string bikinis look great on others, but sadly, not for me. I also rate the wide straps on this bikini (very comfortable.) The print is summery yet not cliche’d and has a sophisticated feel about it – good for poolside lounging (because YEP, I’m planning a lot of that!)

3. Practical yet glamourous gold leather tote bag by Leah Lerner

For someone who has a lot of bags, I never really seem to have the right one for everyday use! This handmade leather tote from Leah Lerner ticks a lot of boxes, and I can already see myself using this for my go-to bag for years to come. I love the large, yet slim-profile shape (it’s called a “magazine bag” but fits my laptop perfectly), and it’s light weight. And, I am a sucker for anything gold so, a double tick for that. This bag is spot on for holiday accessorising, yet thanks to it’s minimalistic design it will go wonderfully with everyday basics. Leah Lerner is based out of Tel Aviv, and also has a great etsy store you can visit here.

4. Coffee table candy via Greg Natale’s book ‘The Tailored Interior’

I’m a huge fan of Greg Natale’s work, having been a client of his several times over the years when I was involved in the retail world. It is fantastic to see him go from strength to strength – he really is a massive talent and is most deserving of this book! The Tailored Interior (just released) showcases the best of Greg’s work – (interior design, interior architecture, and building architecture) throughout the years. Greg’s high impact style of decorating is bold, sophisticated and daring. Can’t wait to get stuck into this tome.

5. Arras Sparkling Wine from Dan Murphy’s

I sampled this sparkling wine recently, and it’s very drinkable (ok, what sparkling isn’t..) But seriously, this was an enjoyable drop and I had no trouble at all polishing off a bottle with my boyfriend! Priced at $21, it’s one to shortlist for this time of year if you’re throwing a party for a lot of people and would prefer to spend money on shoes.

According to the tasting notes, “A by House of Arras Premium Cuvee has a complex and inviting aroma with nuances of forest floor, nougat, exotic spice and lanolin. The palate has opulent flavours reminiscent of lychee, butter sautéed mushroom, natural yoghurt and fresh oyster.” (You know if a sparkling has notes of forest floor, it’s a winner, right!?) Shop here.

6. Glamourous Event / NYE Bracelet from Glamadonna

This is one of my favourite bracelets from the latest collection I have released at Glamadonna (disclosure: Glamadonna is my jewellery brand that I run in conjunction with BWA!) It is a super-premium bracelet that gives the sparkle you’d expect out of diamonds, for $149. An adaptable bracelet that packs a lot of punch (read: sparkle) without any bulk or chunkiness. I will team this bracelet with dresses for attending events, and jeans + heels when I just want to glam up a bit.
