In case you haven’t noticed, leather pants and leather leggings are huge again this winter and for good reason. Not only are they warmer than your average pair of jeans or leggings, they are super sexy, comfortable and can be worn a million different ways (which is great considering the usually high price tag!)
Leather pants give an otherwise plain outfit an instant jolt of fashion-edge which is handy if you don’t have time to style a new outfit everyday (that’s most of us) or want to update your look without too much fuss (that’s pretty much all of us as well, right?) Just like mesh leggings, leather pants have regained the love and attention they deserve.

Leather pants teamed with strappy stilettos or high heeled ankle booties are the ultimate in fierce femininity, and provide a super-easy way to upgrade a day look into a night one. As there are so many ways to style these creations it’s easiest to just think of them as a special pair of black jeans – and you’ll be living in them in no time!
And that brings us to the next point. Despite knowing all of this, and wanting a pair of these beauties FOREVER, I still don’t actually own a pair! D’oh! This needs to change.
My personal preference is for the cigarette, slim-leg style that is tight fitting all the way down. If I’m investing in something like leather pants I really want to get my mileage out of them so I’ll be avoiding anything too gimmicky or seasonal with this purchase. I’m also a fan of the leather legging (which I think has the potential to be even more versatile?) so I’m keeping these on my search radar as well.
I’ve still short-listed one or two that are a little off the beaten track (such as the MAISON MARTIN MARGIELA ones below), I like these for a more sporty/slacks vibe! #decisions.

You cant go wrong with leather they are warm and comfortable and trendy with a matching leather jacket which my daughter has a few would make the scene look totally cool day or night x

I like the ALC and Burberry pairs. You definitely need a pair of long and slip legs to look good in these though. I think a more accessible variation to the normal pair of pants/jeans are waxed skinnies.

Don’t think leather pants look good for my body type and short legs.
there’s no doubt leather pants can look good, but frankly I think you have to be fairly slim to wear them well.
