Star of ‘The Hunger Games’ and one of our biggest girl crushes Jennifer Lawrence has been named as the newest face of Miss Dior!
Cementing her status as one of the top rising actresses to watch this year, the 22-year-old fresh faced beauty will front the new campaign for Miss Dior handbags, a title previously held by Marion Cotillard and Mila Kunis.
Creative Director at Christian Dior, Raf Simons says that Jennifer was the obvious choice to work with the luxury fashion house, saying:
“Like everyone else, I first discovered Jennifer Lawrence in the roles she played in action movies… I was, of course, struck by her incredible on-screen presence in these blockbuster films, but also impressed by her powerful interpretations of subtler more rounded characters. Her youth and her classic beauty, but also her force of character and the complexity she’s capable of embodying at such a young age, are, for me, both unique and very moving.”
Although this will be her first time working with a fashion label, Jennifer is no stranger to the fashion world having recently gracing the cover of Vogue UK’s November Issue looking ever the blonde bombshell (see below).
