Oh Balenciaga. The brand epitomises the ultimate in cool girl luxe and their show at Paris Fashion Week lived up to this and more.
This collection saw the label keeping with their edgy aesthetic whilst also playing with masculine – menswear-inspired tailoring, blazers and pinstriped fabrics – and feminine details – bra tops, floaty skirts, soft ruffles and lace.
Thrown into the mix were sexy slits on ultra mini skirts, bared legs and cropped tops which were made more wearable by incorporating unexpected tweed and twill fabrics.
Mixed prints and fabrics tied it all together and elevated the collection. Such wearable pieces, be sure to spot Balenciaga fan Christine Centenera rocking a piece or two very soon.
