Tommy Hilfiger’s Spring 2013 show was unabashedly nautical, reminiscent of Hamptons sailing, white linen and champagne on the beach.

Reworking sailcloth style fabrics, nautical stripes and fisherman knits, Hilfiger and his team somehow made the casual ultra chic, fun and flirty and always comfortable. Over sized suit jackets in bright snatches of colour are the perfect accouterments to a simple white linen shift dress.

While there were the pieces there that catered to the fashion packs sensibilities there was a hint of the broader Hilfiger consumer in pinkish khakis and and chunky cable knit sweaters.

All in all a collection through and through that is perfect for the American summer. Bring on New York for Spring Summer 2013!
