It seems that the days of heels are a thing of the past.
Jeffrey Campbell has opted for a very unexpected design, presented to us with his ”Nightwalk”shoes. The concept of this is based around a phantom heel, appearing like any regular heeled shoe from the front, the back appears as if the wearer is tip-toeing.
The lack of heel means no more getting stuck in holes that seem to gravitate towards your walking path, and, most importantly, no more concerns of broken heels at inconvienient times.
The support of the shoe is based in the front, which is the reason for the size and specific shape of the platform, the reason why the wearer is (surprisingly) supported during motion. The added femininity of the Mary Jane ankle strap not only works to slim the ankle, but acts as a barrier, ensuring that your feet and ankles remain in place.
I am personally a fan of the classic black suede design. However, Jeffrey Campbell has provided a range of designs and colours in this style to suit all tastes!
So what do you think?
Is this something you would sport? Or do you prefer your heels existant?
