As we get ready to say farewell to winter and welcome spring, with it we welcome a change in our wardrobes. Out go the dark layers upon layers and instead we opt for a brighter colour palette. If you’re not a fan of looking like an explosion of Skittles though, why not try the neutral all-over trend. Neutral colours for all seasons and have the ability to be dressed up or down, and it is so easy to wear.
One of the most popular variations of the trend is the white-on-white look. A good white shirt never dates and is a must-have classic in your wardrobe. Try pairing it with a flirty white A-Line skirt for casual wear or with a slim fitted tailored white pant for work or a more dressed up look.
This trend is also a great way for colour-lovers to explore different ways of incorporating neutrals into their style. For example, if you’re wearing all white with a cobalt blue bag, it’s going to stand out!
We loved the Watson x Watson show at MBFWA this year and the looks from the show are examples of all-over neutral tones done oh so right – take a peep at them here.
Go ahead, be bold in neutrals!
