You may remember my review of the Pleasure State OMB Bra in the past, and with the results as impressive as they were, I was expecting great things from Pleasure State’s latest collection, Hold My Own (HMO), and I certainly was not disappointed.
One of my biggest issues is finding support in the breast area that doesn’t make me look like I am sporting a table underneath my chin. Unlike the OMB Bra which was only suitable for certain “intimate” occasions, the HMO is all about a low cut, plunging silhouette that uses side cup support to create a natural push-up that is not overwhelming.
Essentially the bra uses design and cut to create a push-up bra without padding. The tactility of the bra is possibly one of my favourite things about the product. It is lined with a suede-touch lining which more than anything, feels lovely against your skin but is also designed to grab and hold to make sure you aren’t doing that awkward bra wiggle that so many of us do with ill fitting bras.
My HMO is in a gorgeous peach which means it is not the best colour to wear under all tops but the seam free finish means that there are no annoying lumps and bumps when I do. If you are after something more practical the collection comes in black and skin as well.
I am not about to post a picture of myself wearing the bra, after all, if you were after those type of shots you would be perusing a very different website. Needless to say this bra has successfully made it into my regular rotation of bra’s which is no mean feat!
