I was recently sent a fabulous, incredible array of nail polish from L’Oreal in celebration of their new nail range, Colour Riche Le Vernis. 

PRODUCT

I chose Perle De Jade because of its minty deliciousness, trying to inject a bit of summer into an otherwise wintery week.

Honestly I was not expecting too much when I begun, not because of L’Oreal but because I have THE most unhealthy nails, and nail polish usually chips off within the hour (I’m not even exaggerating here..).

The wider brush meant that only one swipe of the brush was needed each coat, which is great for my dithering left hand (I am right handed). The colour pained on very softly at first but then built up to a very opaque pigmentation in the end.

The bottle is smaller than your average, but I laid out at least three coats on each nail and there is still almost a full bottle left- so I wouldn’t be too concerned with it running out too fast. Honestly a smaller bottle is really better, so that you use it all and don’t waste any that might go bad or dry up.

Right now I am rocking my nails for a second day with NO CHIPS AT ALL. This is pretty much unheard of me so right now I am pretty ecstatic about Colour Riche!!

PACKAGING

L’Oreal has gone with something that is luxe yet minimalist and I like it. A gorgeous gold top makes the perfect accouterments to a squared bottle that is easy to hold, easy to maneuver and is not hard to put the brush back into.

These are the perfect little bottles to line up along your dressing table because they look just so cute all together in a row.

Price: $6.95, which is pretty darn good considering the price of other polishes out there.

Overall Rating: 10/10…when I love a product I really love it!
