Known just as much for her fashion as her music, Rihanna is set to launch her first line of clothing in collaboration with River Island.
The artist will be offering pieces of her edgy style to the retail world, to launch in the Spring of 2013. Quoting London as ‘really inspiring’, she said ‘I’ve been wanting to design my own collection for some time. River Island is the perfect partner for me to collaborate with and working with a British, family run business also really appealed to me.’
This isn’t the first time Rihanna will be stepping into a designer’s shoes. Last year she teamed up with Armani for a limited edition line of clothing and lingerie, a notable piece being her 2012 Grammy Awards dress.
With River Island’s renowned cutting edge style and the singer’s obvious flair, we think this is the perfect collaboration! She’s snapped below at the brand’s HQ in February.
