I know MAC is pretty much known for the five billion collections they launch each year and I’ll admit that usually I glance right over them. Only a handful have ever caught my attention and this one fits nicely in that handful.

The electric cool collection for fall 2012 is described as a set of 12 frosty, highly pigmented shadows with a light-weight formula. The shadows come in a range of vibrant colours, perfect for a night out or when you crave a bold pop of colour. The collection also comes with the 249 large shader brush to get that flawless application you see in all those MAC promo pics.

These were originally brought out to replace the big bounce shadows that launched earlier. The electric cool collection will be limited edition and available in August 2012.

The colours that will be in the collection are:
Pure Flash! – pale champagne
Superwatt – Light shimmering taupe
Dynamo – mid-tone coral
Love Power – soft shimmering rose
Coil – copper bronze
Electroplate – cool gunmetal grey
Blacklit – black with multi-dimensional pearl-
Brilliantly Lit – bright acid yellow green
Fashion Circuit – bright Kelly green
Switch to Blue – rich cobalt
Infra-Violet – mid-tone pink violet with blue pearl
Highly Charged – rich purple with pink pearl
