We are so thrilled with the announcement that one of our all time favorite labels An Ode To No One, has taken home the 2012 DHL Fashion Export Scholarship!
The scholarship which has helped other local labels like Bec & Bridge recognize international success, awards the label and its designer Adi Setiadi with $10,000 of international freighting and a mentorship.
Other brands up for the honor were Shona Joy and Kahlo but a panel of judges including Michael Lo Sordo and the IMG Fashion director Elle Persson awarded the prize based on his true craftmanship and creativity.
Since its inception in 2009, An Ode To No one has gone from strength to strength and its success has allowed for a diffusion line (A.D.) and collaborations with high street store Sportsgirl.
I cannot wait to see Adi’s designs stocked all over the world!
