A little while ago BWA was asked exclusively to head behind the scenes for Bay and Fyfe’s second collection shoot and now, as we anticipate the release of these luxe scarves, all can be revealed.
Frith Hucks who is the founder, has teamed up again with ex Sneaky Sound System Star come artist Daimon Downey, to produce another luscious range of art inspired scarves.
Downey talks us through his inspiration…”the art I’ve used is one of the sculptures from the my Mental Bridges mixed media series. It’s a series that’s a visual version of how we build mental bridges- maps of ways to get over things”.
From first glance at these scarves I was impressed with the bold use of colour put together by the creative duo and combinations suited for both men and women. They definitely do not disappoint in the tactile area either, made from finely woven wool, they feel beautifully comfortable and soft against your skin and suitable to take all the way to the warmer months.
With the likes of Miranda Kerr, Danni Minogue and Nicole Kidman already fans of the label, this second collection (released 20th June) will be one to snap up.
Check out some of BWA’s behind the scenes snaps below plus the final looks from the day.
