Carl Kapp’s SS 2012/13 offerings were one of the highlights of fashion week.
Kapp ignored all of the trends that echoed through almost every other collection and stuck true to his elegant, fluid label aesthetic.
The gowns moved as if of their own volition like liquid down the runway, and bright pops of colour were evidence of Kapp’s desire to evolve his style in a way that is uniquely his.
Tailoring was matched with looser garments to perfectly flatter the female form, splits and cutouts alluded to a sense of sensuality without being overtly sexual.
Kapp reestablished himself as one of the designers to watch, and produced a seamless and beautiful collection that any girl would be thrilled to own.
