An Ode To No One SS 2012/13 At MBFWA

An Ode To No One was one of my most anticipated shows of the week, and Adi did not disappoint.

With a keen eye for the female form and his classic take on prints, Adi has taken his label to another level using fractured symmetry in prints and tailoring to create a label aesthetic that is uniquely his.

There was a crisp, architectural quality to the structure of the garments and sleek finishes to longer length skirts. Flashes of watermelon brights transformed simple grey into something futuristic.

It is unusual to find  designer who so perfectly executes so many key elements this early on in his design career, and this perfect skill set is what makes An Ode To No One the label to watch from this year’s MBFWA.
