Set beneath the raw architectural beauty of the Sydney Opera House, Life with Bird’s tenth anniversary runway showcasing their SS 2012 collection entitled The Distance Between was a breathtaking culmination of the years of classic, beautiful designs that we have come to associate with the brand.
Styled by celebrated stylist Mark Vassallo, the show had a distinct sportswear chic feel with wet look slicked back hair and great wedge boots that had a modern edge.
On the cards this year to watch out for are delicate silk prints in flowing fabrics, racer back cuts, crisp mints, lilacs and peaches.
All in all the collection was true to the much loved Life with Bird aesthetic and marked the poignant anniversary in a way that did the label justice.
