With less than a month until most SS 2012/13 collections are revealed for Aussie designers, Josh Goot has jumped the gun and released his latest collection and it does not disappoint.
It is clear that floral prints are a fixture for the seasons to follow but in Goot’s case it has been revamped with botanical prints that are blown out and satisfyingly symmetrical. If the prints are pleasantly symmetrical, then the hemlines clash appropriately with on trend asymmetrical hemlines and a fresh take on the mullet skirt.
There is a femininity in the silhouettes- architectural shapes accentuate hips and flatter legs.
The collection is modern, fresh, clean and perfectly planned out to flow seamlessly from look to look.
We could not be more excited to see these pieces in the flesh at Mercedes Benz Australian Fashion Week in three weeks!
In the meantime have a drool over the collection below.
