Social Scene: Wonders Cease Concept Store Opening

As you may know by now, our love for Wonders Cease knows no bounds.

A signifier of their imminent success has to be the launch of the Wonders Cease Concept Store which is part of a fantastic initiative by The Grand Social to offer up a retail space for smaller brands that otherwise wouldn’t have the opportunity.

The night was set to some sweet tunes courtesy of surf-pop band Sures as Sydney’s fashionista’s kicked back for an evening of drinks and sneaky shopping.

The launch of the pop up store features their latest Winter 2012 collection ‘A Matter of Light and Depth’ which is full of ultra luxe fabrics, metallic and sheers for the perfect on trend outfits.

Wonders Cease also boasts what are some of my favourite pieces to date, from any label! A beautifully pleated pastel lilac skirt matched with lilac or mint tops make for THE perfect A/W outfit.

If you are in Sydney you can hit the store at The Grand Social Store, 214 Corwn Street, Darlinghurst, Sydney or shop their pieces online here. Stay tuned for their Winter lookbook!

Check out some of the snaps from the night below!

Maryanne 1 year ago Because this is a brand that prides itself on being 100% Australian made and using beautiful quality fabrics, not to mention producing limited quantities, the price tags are reflective. Obviously these are not pieces that you wear once and throw away, they are timeless wardrobe investments that are meant to be loved and last through many seasons.

JENNIFAARRH 1 year ago yeah too pricey :S
BellaB 1 year ago Lovely, but yeah, I'm price sensitive too. It makes it hard for labels like this to be popular when they're so expensive.

kymheaton 1 year ago lovely stiff, but pricing isn't cheap.
PinkK 1 year ago A lot of their stuff is very nice, but I wouldn't consider buying most of it for the price. I understand that sometimes designer clothes are expensive but I felt that the $2-300 asking price for some tops a bit much. However the dresses were priced at what I would consider reasonable.
