Everyone is buzzing about the incredibly statistics to have come out of Chanel’s Spring Couture 2012 show.
One hundred and fiftey shades of blue? The number and thought process behind it seems inconceivable but only supports the fact that Karl Lagerfeld (and his team) is a powerhouse of design prowess.
The Chanel girl from this show is young, fresh and up-beat. Set in a simulated space shuttle arena, the collection was a juxtaposition of aesthetics, more in reference to tailored flight attendants from the 60′s rather than futuristic space cadets.
Lagerfeld describes his new silhouette, of a drop waist that falls as far as the mid thing as “like boys whose jeans are slipping off,” continuing on the feminine take on the masculine that Chanel just does so well.
