Elie Tahari is a long time favourite of ours here at BWA and for good reason. The international label has mastered the knack of creating pieces that are luxe yet wearable and Spring RTW for 2012 is no exception.
With references to an exotic aesthetic inspired by Egyptian exploration (Style.com) the show began drawing from crisp whites and sand palettes matched with luxe gold accessories.
Flowing sheer dresses were given a modern edge by pairing them with structured long trench coats and boyfriend blazers.
Colour appeared in bursts of blue and orange before fading into sexy black and gold numbers. Like much of fashion week, this collection was relaxed in its tailoring yet modern it its cut- understated sexy.
