Thanks to our beautiful friends at Jayson Brunsdon, two of our lucky readers and BWA attended the L’Oreal Paris Runway 5 Presented by Harpers Bazaar.

The girls were old Hollywood glam with sensuous curls and a bright red lip.

Opened by Willow’s short movie set in a sunlit field, the collection reflected elements of a southern belle in its use of cotton field yellows and earthy tones- a beautiful and light filled way to open the show!

Scanlan and Theodore was next out with well crafted woolen fabrics, with ribbed casual fabrics revamped for evening in maxi’s belted with boyfriend belts. Cutout shoulders are definitely a look to sport if you haven’t already.

Much anticipated Dion Lee opened with a crisp white oversized boyfriend shirt that could have come straight from your man’s closet except for the exceptional tailoring.

Jayson Brunsdon’s collection was right on trend with fur trimming and a toned down leopard print, revamped for the next season. Gorgeous colour blocking in different shades of orange were broken up with black for a bold and eye catching look.

Aurelio Costarella’s girls were gorgeous with sex appeal in feminine leather. Fur, scaled fabrics and corseting made for another very on trend collection.

Australia’s darling Collette Dinnigan carried on the ladylike trend with a Victorian inspired collection full of velvet, lace overlay and flowing floorlength gowns. A particular standout was a luxe black trench with sequined cuffs.

T0 close the show Toni Maticevski really hit the mark with some breathtaking gowns. A reference to a 70′s throwback in a hippie inspired piece was followed by a Gaga-esque piece and show stopping flowing gowns.
