As the twitterverse is abuzz with speculation of who has replaced John Galliano at Dior I feel like I’m witnessing an adult mock-up of musical chairs. One chair or should I say throne, and several seriously worthy contenders. But whose style best matches the house of Dior?
As New York Time’s editor Derek Blasbery today tweeted that Ricardo Tisci of Givenchy has won the role – who then will replace Tisci? Stefano Pilati, Creative Director of YSL is rumored to announce his departure from the iconic French brand so will this then bring the amount of available chairs up to three?
Bet’s are being placed. So far Ricardo Tisci for Dior, Haider Ackermann for Givenchy and Hedi Slimane looks to return to YSL. I can’t help but simpathise for the designers post presenting they’re collections for Fall, I’d have felt a little R & R more timely than this.
