The New Take on ‘Body Jewellery’

I am crazy about body armor jewellery right now. It seems having a chain wrapped around any part of your body that makes it resemble something fit for a Trojan battle is so hot right now.

Be it a chained headpiece, leg garter, ear cuff, elbow bracelet, or torso chain, anything goes. The trend was even seen at RAFW with leg chains at St Augustine Academy and sock garters at Kate Sylvester.

Rocking the look on fashion blogs include Karen from wheredidyougetthat.com and Rumi from FashionToast, both taking a liking to the chain mail jewellery extraordinaires, (appropriately named) Armor Jewelry’s ‘Ume’ neckpiece.

Brands such as LitterSF and Bliss Lau are also in demand for their chained pieces along with the much anticipated upcoming collection from Erin Wasson’s LowLuv collection, said to be choc-full of armor inspired jewellery.
